A warm and friendly welcome awaits you on the Black Isle at the Newton Croft Bed & Breakfast establishment. Renowned for its 5 Star Highland hospitality, service and central location to visit most of the North of Scotland makes this family croft a "must" for a longer stay.

Situated on the A835 and only 2 miles from the main A9, we are only 10 minutes from the City of Inverness and the town of Dingwall where there are plenty of amenities including supermarkets, local museum and library.

We offer two bedrooms; the first accommodates a comfortable double bed and looks to the rear of the house over the fields and forest. There is loads of shelving and hanging space for all your clothing.

The second accommodates twin beds and is situated to the front of the house. There is ample wardrobe and drawer space.

Both bedrooms have a hairdryer, digital TV coffee and tea facilities, biscuits, sweets, occasional home baking, and a local information pack which includes brochures of surrounding sites and attractions for your use in the hallway. There is also a folder of nearby restaurants, plus directions, for your evening meals.

Two beautiful, separate, private bathrooms are available with fresh towels and toiletries - for your personal use only. The double room's bathroom has disabled facilities. We cater for people with mobility difficulties. Note: not fully appropriate for wheelchair users.

There are room and front door keys. A laundering service is available for a small charge. We can also supply sandwiches for an extra charge.

There is a vast breakfast menu including locally made "Gold Award" black pudding and haggis, juices and a selection of cereals all within the beautifully decorated separate dining room. We have various flavoured teas plus decaffeinated tea/coffee, if preferred.

We cater for walkers, cyclists and bikers - we drive you to the restaurant for your evening meal, then, on your phone call, we bring you safely back to Newton Croft.

Use us as an anchor point to visit the many places, sites and attractions throughout the Highlands of Scotland.

We have a vast area of garden/ground for you to freely wander. Use the Summerhouse and decking or use the garden bench for a smoke. Secure, private parking with lockup facilities for cycles/motorbikes.

Dogs/cats are £2 per night - dogs must be on a lead and well behaved.
Cats must be in a carrying box.
A surcharge of £5 per night applies for single occupancy.

*We give discount for stays of 3 or more nights - see website.*

Deposits can be made by bank transfer (details on request) or cheque - balances by cash please.
