Central to the neighbouring islands and only two minutes’ drive from the local supermarket, Post Office & bank. The cottage also boasts a fantastic restaurant and Chinese takeaway nearby.

Located in the township of Aird on the family run croft, just yards from a beautiful beach, Culla Cottage was one of the oldest thatched cottages on the island and is the last remaining to be found on the West coast of Benbecula, one time serving as the local Post Office and also features in Mike Hughes 'The Hebrides at War' book.

Situated on a SSSI site you will hear the calls of the corncrakes, skylarks, cornbunting & curlews to name but a few. From our croft you can take a short walk across to Culla Bay which then connects to my neighbouring family croft from where you can take a refreshing coastline walk in turn leading to yet more beautiful and unspoilt beaches to the Southwest of the Island. Please keep animals on leads when on croft land.
