The Barn is a self-contained traditional stone building next to the property of its owners. Inside it is modernised to a high standard and features:

* an upstairs sitting room/bedroom
* a downstairs breakfast room
* a spacious shower room
* a convenient galley kitchen
* a modern take on traditional B&Bs that sacrifices none of their charm
* a 'home alone' offering complete privacy to the couple or family who stay
* a window onto a unique mountain landscape set in the heart of a highland village in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park

Suitable for a couple or family, 'The Barn' has the benefit of offering complete privacy to whoever is staying as it only provides for one couple/family at a a time. The privacy extends to breakfast which is delivered to the downstairs room at a time to suit the visitors.

Outside there is ample parking, whilst in the building itself there is a light, airy upstairs which allows the visitor to relax and take in everything from the magnificent mountain views out of the window, or sample the TV, DVDs with a Scottish twist, and a wide selection of books. In the kitchen downstairs there is a fridge and washing machine. The shower room boasts a formidable power shower.

A delicious breakfast of generous proportions is delivered to The Barn each morning at a time to suit the visitor. The menu for this consists of tasty as well as healthy eating options that rely on local and home made produce.

The Barn has the double benefit of lying at the heart of Killin, within easy access of local shops, restaurants and places of interest, while at the same time offering superb views of the surrounding countryside. Besides space for parking, the garden and other areas are available for visitors to use.

Killin offers a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, both in the village itself and the surrounding area. Bicycles and kayaks are available for hire in the village outdoor shop. A delightful 9 hole golf course welcomes non-members while only a short drive out of the village there are both white water rafting and water skiing. For the more sedate use of leisure time there are visits to be made to a wide range of historical sites. And there are more Munros nearby than you will manage in a dozen visits!

Voted one of Scotland's 100 Best B&Bs by The Guardian.

Prices are dependent on the time of year and number of days booked.
