The Royal an Lochan, one of the leading hotels in Tighnabruaich, offers the very best of everything in surroundings perfectly balanced to help you relax and unwind: the lapping of the waves, stunning scenery, gracious rooms, open fires, excellent cuisine, good wines and malts, and our unrivalled service.

The Royal an Lochan in Tighnabruaich, near Loch Fyne, has 11 luxurious bedrooms most of which have views over the Kyles of Bute and all of which are individually decorated and furnished. All our rooms, whether double, twin or super king, are en-suite, with all but one having both bath and shower.

You will find your bathroom has precisely what you need to help you unwind and wash away all your worries and as you relax on your comfortable bed following a fulfilling day you will find yourself drifting off into a deep sleep. Upon waking in the morning join us downstairs and enjoy the breathtaking views of Kyles of Bute from your breakfast table.

Tighnabruaich is one of four small villages stretching along the shore of the Kyles of Bute. There are a number of small shops including a post office and local grocery shop and The Tighnabruaich Gallery, which exhibits paintings, sculptures, wood turning & glasswork. The hotel also displays many paintings by Scottish artists, along with some items of jewellery and glassware from the gallery.
