Portpatrick is an ideal centre for visiting many excellent gardens including Logan Botanic Garden, visiting the Mull of Galloway - Scotland's most southerly point or playing golf. Discounts available at Portpatrick & Stranraer Golf Clubs, both of which courses are in Scotland's top100.

Portpatrick is also a great base for visiting Culzean Castle near Ayr, golfing at Turnberry, exploring Galloway Forest Park - possibly climbing the Merrick or walking round Loch Trool - or even for a day trip to Belfast or the Giant's Causeway.

Portpatrick is ideal for walking, whether on one of the coastal paths or in the nearby Galloway Hills. We are both keen walkers and can lend our guests maps, walking poles and compass if needed.

We hope to see you soon at Rickwood House Hotel, the only 4 Star B&B accommodation in Portpatrick - South West Scotland.
