This renovated detached cottage provides self catering accommodation with magnificent views over the Moray Firth, and it lies 5 miles north of Inverness centre.
The accommodation is tastefully decorated, and comprises:-

Kitchen and dining area: modern and fully-fitted with oven/hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, dishwasher and washing machine

There are many walks in nearby woods and along the shores of the Moray Firth, where it may be possible to see seals and dolphins. For the birdwatchers there are kites and buzzards, and for animal-lovers there are the deer and red squirrels and, of course, our own friendly sheep and cattle.
Activities nearby the cottage include golf courses, riding, a wildlife park and a theatre. Shop and pub are located approximately two miles away. The Black Isle brewery is nearby and there are several whisky distilleries in easy reach by car from Muir of Ord to the Famous Glenmorangie.

A warm welcome awaits you at Birchwood Bed and Breakfast. Birchwood offers very comfortable secluded accommodation in a large modern country house, set in an acre of garden grounds on the beautiful Black Isle only 15 minutes from Inverness. It is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Highlands of Scotland.
Our two en-suite bedrooms rooms have comfy king sized beds, white cotton bed linen and soft white towels. One of the rooms also has a single bed. Each room has:

Kilcoy Chalets are set in the delightful countryside of The Black Isle. Situated just off the A835, they are only 7 miles north west of Inverness (a 10 minute car journey). Bus stops to-and-from Inverness are conveniently situated only a few hundred yards away!
These 5 high quality cosy chalets, set in their own well-kept garden, have been designed specifically with couples in mind and are an ideal base for sightseeing and touring the north and west coasts of the Scottish Highlands. Free wifi.
The chalets each consist of one double bedroom, shower room and open plan loungekitchen. All bed linen supplied. Towels can be hired. The chalets have electric heating throughout and are fully equipped. Electricity is by £1 coin operated meters.

The house, in its own six acres of land, is only 4 miles from Inverness on the Black Isle but is located in an isolated area of superb countryside.
The twin room with en-suite bathroom is on the ground floor. The window faces south onto the garden. There is a built-in wash hand basin with cupboard space beneath. The adjoining bathroom has a basin, lavatory and a 6ft bath with hair-wash shower head.
The twin room upstairs is spacious and has a southward view over the garden into a birch wood. There is ample drawer space and a walk-in wardrobe. The shower room is en-suite and is equipped with an electric shower, wash basin and lavatory.
We do not serve evening meals, but there are some excellent establishments close by, notably, the hotel in the village of North Kessock. Reservations are required, please let us know, when you book if you would like us to do this for you. There are restaurants to suit all tastes in Inverness. We will gladly advise you where to go and how to get there.
The house is ideally situated for short trips to Inverness and Loch Ness. Cawdor and Brodie Castles, Culloden and Fort George are all within easy reach. | |
