Welcome to Lahloo Bed and Breakfast. We are set in the heart of Anstruther, just around the corner from the beautiful harbour and world famous 'Anstruther Fish Bar'. We are only a 15 minute drive from St Andrews, the home of golf, and we are ideally situated to explore the East Neuk of Fife.
The house was built in 1800, and was the birthplace of Captain John Smith, master of the Lahloo tea clipper, winner of the Tea Race from Shanghai to London in 1870. We have two spacious double rooms, which have been tastefully decorated. Both rooms have en suite facilities.
With a variety of golf clubs, cosy pubs, fantastic restaurants and stunning scenery, we are sure you will enjoy your stay in Anstruther with us at Lahloo Bed and Breakfast.

Troustrie House has been lovingly renovated to give our guests a good night's sleep in a traditional farmhouse B&B set in a quiet rural location a mile from the pretty East Neuk village of Crail, and nine miles from St Andrews, the home of British golf.
South-facing bedrooms have idyllic views over open fields towards the Firth of Forth and the Isle of May. Four star quality with luxury en-suite bathrooms and cosy goose down duvets. Enjoy tea and home made cakes on arrival in our guest lounge with woodburning stove for those cooler autumn evenings. Delicious breakfasts prepared from organic, free-range and locally sourced produce wherever possible.
There are various wooden benches around the garden where you can catch the sunshine, enjoy the view and the peace and quiet with your cup of tea or a good book.
Rooms have digital TV with CD player, and wifi is also available.
Troustrie is a non-smoking home, and we regret that we don't have facilities for very young children.
