The cottage was built in 2010, and stands in its own lawned garden in a quiet, undisturbed corner of our croft in the district of Harlosh, north west Skye. The site of the cottage was carefully chosen to make the most of extensive views to the east to the Cuillin and to the west over Loch Vatten.
The luxurious and very well equipped accommodation is all on the ground floor. Beautiful views greet you from every window. You will find a log burning stove in the lounge, plus Freesat TV. The king-size master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room.There is a further bedroom, bathroom and spacious kitchen/dining room.
Outside, a patio offers views over Loch Vatten, whilst an area of decking is a perfect place to sit in the morning sun and gaze to the distant peaks of the magnificent Cuillin mountain range. There is ample off road guest parking.
An Airidh is situated just off a single-track road in the crofting district of Harlosh, about 5 miles from Dunvegan. Dunvegan has shops, post office, petrol station and a choice of eating places.

Skye Crofters Cottage is an exceptionally luxurious property, built and furnished to a high specification. Ideal as a romantic hideaway, it sits on a secluded spot at the top of a hill, with spectacular views of Loch Caroy and the hills.
THE LIVING ROOM
The comfortable Italian leather sofa, quality soft furnishings and fuel burning stove will ensure a cosy night relaxing after a day's activities. Kindling and peat are provided. Sky television is connected and we have a selection of DVDs for you to enjoy.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is professionally equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, built in cooker and microwave. In the cupboards, you will find everything you need if you would prefer to cook for yourselves.
BEDROOM: The sumptuous King Size bed has been dressed with the finest linen and the quilts and pillows are hypo-allergenic and of the highest quality. The perfect place to relax or read after a day's walking. There is a flat screen television with satellite and a reading area for you to choose from.
BATHROOM: The bathroom of the cottage is spacious and luxurious in design. Every detail has been thought of and it boasts a large free standing bath and sit down steam shower.
We are keen that our guests have a special holiday experience on Skye and can organise for your enjoyment, activities including fishing, boat trips, wildlife walks, climbing, photography, to name but a few. Just ask and we'll see what we can do!
