Majestically situated in the Scottish Highlands, within 5 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, Glenspean Lodge has for many years, been a famous landmark in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Our 17 bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms with shower facilities. We consider our Mountain View bedrooms to be some of the most spacious rooms you would hope to find in Scotland. The rooms are all quite individually furnished and decorated. Some are with double beds and some with 2 single beds (twin bedded rooms).

The rooms to the front of the building are generally larger and have great views of the Spean Valley, hills and mountain range. We class these as 'mountain view' rooms and there is a small surcharge for these rooms. The rooms at the back of the house have views of the property, some with nice garden views too. Unusual is The Turret Room, where the best views are no doubt from the bathroom! The popular Turret Room, built into the top turret of the Lodge, is quite large with a small seating area and can be easily converted to a family room if required.

Two of our rooms are Four-Posters and these are very well furnished and larger still. The Braveheart Suite is even larger and occupies the top corner of the building. We have had some very well known guests stay in this room and it is popular with Honeymooners and for those special occasions.

No matter which room you stay in, all are extremely well equipped with:

* direct dialling telephones
* data ports
* colour satellite television
* tea & coffee making facilities
* hairdryers and toiletries for your use

Our aim is to make you feel as welcome, relaxed and comfortable as possible during your stay with us at the Glenspean Lodge.

The wonderful fusion of great food, fine ales, a grand selection of Scotch malts, cosy rooms and comfy beds - with an easy friendly atmosphere and the warmth of great highland hospitality - is the hallmark of the real Scottish highland country inn and at Stronlossit you have that abundance of riches eagerly awaiting you.

The Stronlossit Inn nestles amidst the grandeur and majesty of the surrounding scenery, with the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Ben Nevis range. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Stronlossit is a real gem of authentic Scottish highland tradition - a warm, welcoming, inn-style hotel of class and character.

Having been in the Vallely family for over two generations, the hospitality you will receive and savour here from Maurice and Sandra Vallely is truly inspirational; from mouth watering Scottish cuisine promoting authentic natural flavours of fresh local produce in season, in a 'home-cooking' style, to levels of comfort and amenity found in the best of Scottish Inns.

A perfect base for touring the Highlands, Stronlossit is situated at the foot of the famous Nevis mountain range and is a great place for enjoying the area's outdoor activities. Combine great scenery with superb food, traditional highland hospitality, and comfortable en suite rooms and at the Stronlossit you have all the makings of the authentic Scottish experience.

Expect, and enjoy, wonderfully kept, fresh, cosy and comfortable bedrooms, fully ensuite, with warm soothing baths and showers, fluffy towels, and your 'windows to the world', not only some great views across Aonach Mor - but direct dial telephones and modem points to keep you in touch with the wider world should you choose.

Ground floor rooms are available, and the clear pure highland air also helps to guarantee a great night's sleep.

Hotel Policies:
The hotel rooms sleep a maximum of 2 people and are unsuitable for child accommodation.

Pets are not allowed in the Hotel, but can sleep overnight in owners' vehicles, provided they are well behaved and do not cause annoyance to other guests. Dogs are not permitted to be walked in the Hotel grounds.
