This magnificent former country house and shooting lodge retaining many original features, set in 2.5 acres of mature wooded grounds, makes the perfect Highland holiday retreat. Nature flows from the nearby hills and woods to our doorstep and includes our own resident family of the endangered red squirrel.

Each bedroom at Tigh na Sgiath is individual in character, size and design and so this is reflected in the name and tariff for each bedroom.

All bedrooms include:-
* colour TV, radio/alarm
* Speyside Sparkling Mineral Water
* fresh floral seasonal arrangements
* tea/coffee making facilities with herbal teas and Speyside Shortbread
* hairdryer
* bathrobes
* bath sheets
* luxury toiletries

There are views of the Cairngorm Mountains and Cromdale Hills from the front of the hotel, where breathtaking sunsets and the ever changing vista of the day make it an almost spiritual experience to sit, view and relax in the tranquility that is Speyside.

Most rooms boast a feature fireplace of exceptional architectural quality. All of our rooms have colour television, heating, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities and an attention to detail that is second to none. Everything to ensure that your stay is comfortable and memorable.

You will find that attention to detail is a byword at Tigh na Sgiath, just small things to make your stay a pleasure.

Mountain views, excellent service, superb food and en-suite facilities are only a few of the reasons why Rosegrove is the chosen accommodation of our guests that return year after year.

Meals are served overlooking the beautiful garden, where it is common to spot red squirrels, deer and a variety of birds. All meals are prepared using the finest ingredients, locally sourced where possible.

We’re especially proud of our breakfasts where you will start your day with tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

We also have a selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and porridge. To follow we offer the usual bacon, sausages, mushrooms, potato scones, grilled tomatoes, baked beans and fried, scrambled or boiled free range eggs. There are also vegetarian options available. Then to finish, toast with jam, marmalade or delicious Scottish honey.

Evening meals are available by prior arrangement.
